Kaho Albert Yu is an animation and new media artist whose works often employ computer graphics, photography and digital technology. Over the past twenty plus years, Kaho has also been a software engineer, a technical director for feature animation films including Shrek 2 and the Ice Age series, an assistant professor at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong and a bicycle workshop owner.

Kaho received a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and a MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts. His experimental animations have been awarded and selected by various international film and new media art festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, interFilm Berlin, SIGGRAPH, and Festival du nouveau cinéma.

His current interest is in the spatial aspect of VR storytelling. He is currently working on a VR animation with the support from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.
